- Substrate / Processing
Substrates
- Der Untergrund muss den üblichen Anforderungen entsprechend trocken, sauber, staubfrei und genügend verfestigt sein. Schlecht haftende, alte Anstriche, Leimfarbe und Kalkanstriche sind zu entfernen. Tragfähige, einwandfreie Untergründe können in der Regel direkt mit Living Art beschichtet werden. Allenfalls den Anforderungen entsprechende Grundierungen (Gemäss Richtlinien, z.B. SMGV-Merkblätter) einsetzen.
- Beim Untergrund sind für Feuchträume geeignete Typen einzusetzen.
- Weissputze können direkt mit Living Art beschichtet werden, sofern es sich um einwandfreie Weissputzflächen gemäss dem SMGV-Merkblatt 91 «Beschichtungen auf Weissputz und Spachtelungen» handelt. Auf Weissputzflächen ist der Erstanstrich mit Living Art mindestens 25% mit Wasser zu verdünnen.
- Bei der Anwendung von intensiven Farbtönen im Anthrazit-, Schwarz-, Braun- und Dunkelgrünbereich können Streifenbildungen und Abzeichnungen bei Ausbesserungen auftreten. Dazu sind Vorversuche auf dem entsprechenden Untergrund auszuführen.
- Die Anwendung von Living Art Bunttönen auf mineralischen Putzen ist durch Vorversuche zu prüfen (Alkalität).
- Wasser-, Nikotin- und Holzflecken sind vorgängig mit Isoprim Aqua zu isolieren.

Die Trocknung ist von der relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit, der Luft- und Objekttemperatur und der Schichtdicke abhängig. Die ermittelten Angaben entsprechen den Normbedingungen bei 20°C Raumtemperatur und 65% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit.

Der Verbrauch ist von der Applikationsart, der Porosität und der Struktur des Untergrundes und der erzielten Schichtdicke abhängig. Die angegebenen Werte beziehen sich auf relativ glatte, wenig saugende Untergründe. Bei extremen Putzstrukturen erhöht sich der Verbrauch entsprechend.

Immediately wash out thoroughly with water, possibly with soft soap. Remove dried layers with nitro thinner.

- Quality and environment
The product can be used as a coating for indirect contact with food and was examined for its substance migration by means of GC-MS screening analysis and for its sensory behaviour (sensory influence on food) in indirect contact with food. Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 was used for the evaluation.
